Terms of use
The rules for using this website, and what a request through it does and does not commit either of us to. Written to be read, not skimmed past.
Effective · This is the first published version
In short
- Sending a request is not a booking. It becomes an appointment when a person here confirms it with you.
- Prices on this site are starting points. Your price is confirmed before any work begins, and you can say no.
- The estimator, the sizing tool and the assistant give general guidance. They are not a diagnosis, and not a load calculation.
- In an emergency — gas, smoke, carbon monoxide — leave the building and call 911. Do not use a form or the chat.
This summary is here to be useful, not to replace what follows. The sections below are the ones that apply.
1. These terms, and who they are between
This website is operated by Brabham Quality Heating and Air (“we”, “us”, “our”), of Brabham Quality Heating and Air, 5960 Ogeechee Rd Ste N, Savannah, GA 31419. By using brabham-hvac.com — browsing it, sending a request through it, signing in, or using the assistant — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please use the phone instead: (912) 858-3737.
These terms cover the website. The work we carry out at your property is governed by the estimate, invoice and warranty paperwork you receive for that job — and where the two differ about the work itself, the paperwork wins.
Our privacy notice explains what we do with the information you give us, and forms part of these terms.
2. What this site does — and what it does not
This site describes the work we do, gives you our starting prices, helps you work out what is likely wrong, and lets you send us a request. That is the whole of it.
Sending a request does not book an appointment, and does not create a contract to carry out work. It tells us you want one. Someone from the office then contacts you to agree a time, and the appointment exists from that conversation — not from the confirmation screen or the confirmation email, both of which only tell you the request reached us.
- We may not be able to take a job: it may be outside the area we cover, outside what we do, or in a week when we have no capacity. We will tell you.
- Availability wording on this site — same-day service, 24/7 emergency cover — describes how we work, not a guaranteed response time for your particular call. We do not publish a response time we cannot keep.
- Nothing on this site is an offer capable of being accepted by submitting a form.
- There is no online payment here, and we do not collect card or bank details through this site.
3. Prices, estimates and discounts
Prices shown on this site are starting points for the work described, for a typical building in our service area. They are published so that you are not walking in blind — not as a quotation.
- Your price is confirmed before work begins. The diagnostic charge is given to you up front, and repair or replacement work is priced and agreed with you before anyone starts. You can decline at that point.
- Estimates on replacements are free, in writing, and carry no obligation. Request one.
- What a job actually costs depends on the equipment, the access, the ductwork, the electrical supply, and what we find when we open the unit up. That is why a figure on a web page cannot be a promise.
- Discounts — military, senior and first responder — are one per job, cannot be combined with other offers, and should be mentioned when you book. We may ask for reasonable proof of eligibility. See financing, warranty and discounts.
- Utility rebates and tax credits are run by other organisations, not by us. Amounts, eligibility and deadlines are theirs to set and to change, and a rebate is never guaranteed by us.
- Financing is provided by a third-party lender, subject to their credit approval and their terms. We are not the lender, and we do not decide the outcome.
- Manufacturer and promotional offers change through the year. The offer that applies is the one written on your estimate at the time you accept it.
Where we say we will meet or beat a competitor's price, we mean a verifiable written quote for comparable work on comparable equipment, shown to us before we begin. Ask us how it works: (912) 858-3737.
We work hard to keep prices, specifications and availability on this site accurate, but a page can go out of date or simply be wrong. An obvious error does not bind either of us to it — we will tell you the correct price rather than hold you to a mistake, in either direction.
4. The tools, the guides and the assistant
The cost estimator, the repair-or-replace tool, the sizing guide, the guides and the chat assistant exist to help you understand your options before you speak to anybody. They work from what you type in, and from general rules of thumb for this climate.
- They are not a diagnosis. A system can fail in several ways that look identical from the thermostat. Only a technician at the equipment can tell you which one it is.
- The sizing tool is not a load calculation. Specifying equipment properly needs a Manual J calculation for your actual building. We do that on the estimate visit, and we do not size from floor area alone.
- The assistant can be wrong. It is generated text, it can misread a question, and it does not know your house. Do not rely on it for anything involving gas, electricity, refrigerant, carbon monoxide, or whether a building is safe to occupy.
- Do not attempt repairs on our say-so. Nothing here is an instruction to work on your own gas, electrical or refrigerant equipment — doing so can be dangerous, can be unlawful, and can void your warranty.
Where a figure on this site comes from someone else — a utility rebate table, an efficiency standard, an energy price — we name the source and the year on the page. Those sources can change after we publish.
5. Emergencies and safety
If you smell gas, see smoke or flame, hear a hissing gas line, or your carbon monoxide alarm is sounding: get everyone out of the building first. Then call 911 and your gas utility, from outside. Do not switch anything on or off, and do not wait for a reply here.
Forms and the chat assistant are not monitored continuously, and are not an emergency channel. For urgent heating or cooling failures our emergency line runs 24/7 — call (912) 858-3737. A phone call is always the fastest way to reach a person, and for a house with no heat or no cooling it is the right one.
6. Your account
An account is optional; everything on this site can be done without one. If you have one, it is because you already sent us a request from that email address — there is no public sign-up, and we will not send a sign-in link to an address we do not already hold.
- A sign-in link is personal to you, works once, and expires shortly after it is sent. Do not forward it.
- Keep your email account secure: anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account.
- We may suspend or close an account that is being used to abuse the site — or at your request.
- What you see in the account area is a record of what you sent us. It is not a contract, an invoice, or a confirmation of price.
7. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Send requests you do not mean, in someone else's name, or with contact details that are not yours to give.
- Try to reach another person's request, account or reference, or any part of the staff dashboard.
- Scrape, crawl or copy the site's content in bulk, or use it to train a model, without our written permission.
- Work around rate limits, probe for vulnerabilities, or interfere with the site's operation or security.
- Submit anything unlawful, abusive, threatening or deliberately misleading, or anything containing malware.
- Impersonate us, or present this site's content as your own.
We may block access, refuse a request, or remove content to protect the site, our staff and our customers. If you have found a security problem, please tell us rather than demonstrating it at scale — write to info@brabham-hvac.com and we will take it seriously.
8. Text messaging terms
When you give us your mobile number on a form, or text us first, you agree that we may text you about your enquiry and your job: confirming a time, telling you the technician is on the way, asking a question about the system, and following up afterwards.
- What we send
- Service messages about a request or a job. We do not run a marketing text programme.
- How often
- As often as your job needs. There is no fixed schedule.
- Cost
- We do not charge for texts. Message and data rates from your own carrier may apply.
- To stop
- Reply STOP to any message, or tell us on the phone. We may send one confirmation that you have opted out.
- For help
- Reply HELP, or call (912) 858-3737.
- Carriers
- Delivery is not guaranteed, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Agreeing to service texts is not a condition of buying anything from us, and opting out does not affect your job — we will call or email instead.
9. Work carried out, and warranties
The warranty position is summarised on our financing and warranty page: we warrant our own workmanship, and equipment is warranted by its manufacturer — for parts, subject to registration, and on their terms.
That summary is written for a general reader. The terms that apply to your system are the ones on your paperwork and in the manufacturer's own warranty document, and those are what govern a claim. Cover can be affected by things outside our control: skipped maintenance, work by someone else, damage, or equipment that was never registered.
We are licensed and insured. Where a licence number or a certificate of insurance is required, ask and we will give it to you in writing.
10. Content and trade marks
The text, photographs, illustrations, layout and code of this site belong to Brabham Quality Heating and Air, or to whoever licensed them to us. You are welcome to read it, print a page for your own use, and link to us — anything else, including republishing it, needs our permission in writing.
Trane and any other manufacturer or utility names used on this site belong to those companies. We name them because we fit their equipment, or because their programmes apply to your rebate; no endorsement of us by them is implied beyond the dealer relationship we state.
11. Other people's websites and services
We link to utilities, manufacturers and government pages because they are useful. We do not control them, we are not responsible for what they say or do, and their privacy practices are their own. Check the figures on a rebate or a tax credit with the organisation that runs it before relying on them.
12. The website itself, and our liability for it
This section is about the website, not about the work we do for you. Our responsibility for work carried out at your property is dealt with in your job paperwork and by the law that applies to it, and nothing here reduces it.
The site is provided as it is, and as it happens to be available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or up to date at every moment, and to the fullest extent the law allows we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement in respect of the site.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, or from relying on a general figure or a tool output here rather than on a written estimate from us. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
You are responsible for your own misuse of the site — submitting false requests in someone else's name, or breaching section 7 — and for the costs that follow from it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about this website belongs in the state or federal courts serving Chatham County, Georgia, and we each agree to that venue. If you are a consumer, this does not take away any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still stands. Not enforcing something straight away does not mean we have given it up.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site changes. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date at the top. Using the site after a change means you accept the new version; the terms that apply to a request you have already sent are the ones that were published when you sent it.
