How it works
What actually happens between your first call and a finished job, so there are no surprises in the middle of it.
1. You call or send a request
For anything urgent — no cooling in summer, no heat in winter — call. Emergency service is available around the clock, and a phone call gets triaged faster than any form.
For planned work, a request through the site is fine. Tell us what the system is doing, roughly how old it is, and where you are.
2. Diagnosis or survey
Repairs start with a diagnostic visit. The cost of the diagnostic is given to you before it happens, and a technician tests the system properly rather than replacing parts to see what helps.
Replacements and installations start with a survey instead: measurements, a look at the ductwork, and the load calculation that decides capacity.
3. You get the findings and the options
For a repair, that means what failed, why, and what it takes to fix. Where a system is near end of life, that gets said plainly, including when the honest answer is that a repair is still the better value.
For a replacement, it means a free written estimate with the calculated load, the proposed equipment, and what happens to the ducts.
4. You approve, then the work happens
Nothing proceeds before you have agreed to it. Repairs are usually completed on the same visit where parts allow.
A straightforward residential changeout is typically a single day. Work involving duct modifications, geothermal or commercial equipment takes longer, and the schedule is confirmed with your estimate.
5. Commissioning and follow-up
On an installation, refrigerant charge and airflow are verified before we leave. This is the step that decides whether a well-specified system actually performs, and it is the one most easily skipped.
If something is not right afterwards, call. We stand behind our workmanship and we would rather come back than have you live with it.
